Not only is it owned by Helga De silva Blow Perera and one of the most fabulous, beautiful and magnificently eccentric individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, but the place is completely covered in cool and quirky art either done by herself or various visiting artists. The whole place is punctuated with whimsy and flamboyance by the bucketload, from the 1930s furniture and gothic-style candles to the sporadically placed skeletons that represent her belief that underneath our skin we are all the same.
